First Thursday Luncheon Group - Meets first Thursday of the month. All Spectrum members, guests and friends are invited for good food and conversation. If you are not yet a Spectrum member, please feel free to come check it out!!
TINN - Trans in Northern Nevada - Meets the First Friday of the Month. This is a social group only, dedicated to improving the lives of the transgender community of the Northern Nevada and Lake Tahoe regions. There seems to be an even greater need for connections in recent times and it is hoped that this group will be a safe base for all those identifying as transgender, transsexual, and for those friends, family members, or partners also seeking connections.This group is intended to provide social connections, education, resource sharing, and information, as well as support and advocacy for the community. Please feel free to join in and express your issues and concerns, and also enjoy a great time with others! It is hoped that together we can connect with one another and create a friendly and supportive community.
Hiking Group - For all members. Hiking and snowshoeing in the Reno/Carson/Tahoe area. Volunteers lead the group on their favorite hikes. Dates are determined by hike leaders.
